With the weather heating up there is no better time to glow from within  than now. I’m not sure if I spoke about this specific oil in a previous article, but if I have, here is an update; I’m using Iberia Sunflower oil and Avocado oil. It’s advertised to be a great dressing for salads but honestly, it’s a great dressing for discoloration pigmented skin.

Puberty beat my skin up, horribly; I’m talking about back acne and I still have the discoloration to prove it. I’ve used shea butter, cocoa butter, lotion, olive oil, and drank copious amounts of water but the discoloration has remained. I’ve been using this oil for a little over a month and the dark spots have began to vanish. Acne marks on your face are easy to conceal with makeup but discoloration marks on your back are more tough to get rid of. If you are dealing with the same problem, please try this oil to see if it’ll work for you. I purchased mine from my local supermarket.

I use this oil on my face as well as my neck, shoulder, back, and hair. It’s a huge bottle, can’t let it go to waste! As a moisturizer this is an amazing base for makeup, or no makeup at all. It gives an amazing overall glow that sits well under foundation or tinted moisturizer. I have 4B natural hair with a high porosity. I don’t moisturize my scalp everyday but when I do, this oil it leaves my scalp relieved. I purchased mine from the grocery store for $7 (that’s including tax) but on Amazon it’s about $25.00 (without tax and shipping).

I’ve also decided to try the new Garnier Fructis 1-minute hair mask. The only reason being it was advertised to be 98% naturally derived natural ingredients. The Color Vibrancy+ Goji Extract is ideal for heavily bleached hair. I didn’t use it as a 1-minute hair mask, but as a conditioner. I used it after my Shea Moisture Argan Oil & Almond Milk “Smooth & Tame Shampoo” and not only does it leave your hair smelling amazing, it brightened my hair so well my mom thought I bleached it again. Garnier has launched four other 1-minute mask as well: a banana, avocado, coconut, and papaya. It was only $4.00 and can be purchased at CVS, Walgreens, or Target.
