I am a model, performing cellist and an architecture student. I have been playing music since I was 5 years old, starting on the recorder, clarinet, flute, and eventually the cello.
My mom was diagnosed with Lupus in 2005 and since then I’ve been her extra support at home and with my younger siblings. During my time at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, I decided to begin street performing for tips at the local subways. Over time I began to get booked for weddings and dinner parties, which eventually turned into gigs with celebrities, and luxury fashion shows, and eventually I began to promote my image/brand as “Aijeecello”.

I began doing photo shoots with my cello, that way I could express both my love for music as well as modeling. At this point, I was pushing myself more and more into the media every day, and in the summer of 2017, I was invited to tell the world about who I am, live on my local news show, “Good Day Philadelphia” on channel Fox29.
When I play my cello I feel safe, I feel like nothing else in the world matters but the notes that are coming from my instrument. It gets difficult funding my ideas alone but I will continue to create music for people to feel through their spirit and soul, and my images and talent in music videos, photo shoots (magazine editorials) to share my art with the world.
Even while being a full-time college student, I still find time to travel around the States with booked gigs, street performing whenever I can, to sustain and fund my dreams. I love to model and hope to have a big campaign soon, but music has shaped me, it has been a life changing moment and I couldn’t, nor would I imagine, living without it, so I will continue to combine both.
