As the hype of the dance has spread to other social media platforms, the dance has also left the Generation Z community of TikTok and entered the millennial community of Twitter.
The result of this transition has left many millennials feeling a gap between generations as they joke about how difficult the Renegade Dance is compared to the dance trends of the 2000s.
