NuCoders Academy was launched by Miss Nubia in response to the COVID19 Pandemic of 2020. Miss Nubia is no longer able to teach her beautiful students in person. So earlier this month she made up her mind to create a fun coding curriculum to teach youth online until the end of the school year.
Miss Nubia will be teaching them skills in Python, HTML, and CSS coding languages with a game-based learning approach. Which means they’ll be playing games and coding at the same time!
Miss Nubia has been an educator for about 10 years, working as a private tutor, teacher’s assistant, and more. For the last two years she has transformed her love for engineering and coding into a educational mission. Working with organizations such as RoboFun Inc and LeAp Afterschool has given her the skills to teach STEM in a fun, engaging, and exciting way.
